Working with the wonderful ‘Wizardz of Oz’ on these two tracks and hopefully more. Once ready to rock (after Randy Cooke plays drums on it, Joe Dunne rawks some basslines and we finish everything, mix it right, master it) we will post some clips. Once it is all released, I’ll be posting the ‘how we recorded in stages’ info with rough mixes and how things were written.

I want you all to follow along with me in the journey of finishing this album, and I will post clips as soon as I am ready, however my intentions are to show you the actual steps of each song, in a form of ‘b sides’ that you will be able to listen to on KRONiS.us in the ‘b sides’ section.

We will disect all the songs and show you how to play all the parts, and the entire process of recording, with rough versions available in mp3 format for download.

The plan is to release the album 4 months after christmas in May 2010. Currently we are working on the first few tracks that are going to have drums added in the next month or so, then we will see how the mixing is sounding and work out the vocal takes.

Lots going on. I feel that it will be healthly to document the process on here and post music (where possible) as it happens.

For now it will mostly be discussions about HOW we are recording, what techniques we are using and how the equipment all works together (i.e. midi drums done in guitar-pro, used by pro-tools, then dumped…etc)
